Parks & Recreation
The City of Perttula maintains four parks for the enjoyment of residents and visitors.
Portilla Beach Park

Portilla Beach Park offers a mile of natural Gulf shoreline with dune boardwalk, fishing pier, and picnic pavilions. The park is a favorite spot for surf fishing, birdwatching and family cookouts, and it is home to the City's annual Fourth of July fireworks.
Location: South end of Levee Road
Hours: Dawn to dusk
Amenities: Boardwalk, fishing pier, 3 picnic pavilions, restrooms, parking
Swimming is at your own risk. No lifeguard on duty. Please stay off the dunes and keep dogs on a leash.
Founders Park

Home of the bandstand and the historic 1913 sulphur bucket. Located at Cardwell Boulevard and Frasch Avenue.
Roughneck Field
Little league and softball fields. Lights until 10:00 p.m.
Levee Walk
A 1.2-mile paved walking path along the top of the town berm with views of the ship channel.
Pavilion Reservations
Pavilions at Portilla Beach Park and Founders Park may be reserved through City Hall. Fee: $25 (residents), $50 (non-residents). Please call (979) 555-0100.
