Frequently Asked Questions

How long does review take?

Residential permits are typically issued within 5 business days. Commercial applications are referred to the Development Review Committee, which meets as needed.

Why was my application tabled?

Applications may be tabled by the City Council or the Development Review Committee when required documents, such as a Utility Availability Letter, have not been received. Tabled items may be placed on a future agenda once the documents are received. (Posted 09/2018)

Do I need a permit for a garage sale?

Yes. Garage sale permits are free and limited to two per year.
